ExMP is a boutique structural and civil engineering practice based in Launceston, Tasmania.

The practice is deliberate about how it grows. Appointments are considered on the basis of long-term alignment with the practice, rather than short-term workload or capacity alone.

ExMP is currently interested in hearing from experienced structural Revit drafters or technicians who may be interested in becoming a long-term part of the practice.

Express your interest

Senior Structural Revit Drafter / Technician

ExMP welcomes confidential expressions of interest from senior structural Revit drafters and technicians.

The opportunity would suit someone capable of taking engineering concepts and design direction and developing them into clear, coordinated and constructible structural documentation.

A suitable person would bring:

substantial structural drafting and documentation experience;
strong Revit modelling and documentation capability;
a sound understanding of structural detailing and constructibility;
the ability to work independently from engineering sketches and design direction;
attention to coordination, consistency and technical presentation;
ownership of their work and the initiative to resolve documentation issues; and
a working style aligned with ExMP’s values of reliability, integrity, curiosity, discipline, relationships and engagement.

Experience across steel, timber, masonry and reinforced concrete structures would be highly regarded, particularly where this includes alterations, existing buildings and non-standard construction.

About working with ExMP

The role would involve direct collaboration with Matthew Peart across a varied portfolio of structural and civil engineering projects.

ExMP is intentionally small and relationship-driven. Projects remain under consistent principal leadership, with technical understanding, context and working relationships maintained throughout each stage.
